For as long as I can remember, my parents, sister, and I spent Christmas Eve listening to Christmas music and enjoying French bread, cheese, and cold cuts as our special dinner. My husband and I have continued this tradition within our own family, and we still celebrate with my mother. I cannot imagine a Christmas Eve spent any other way.
My favorite tradition as an adult has been to have a live tree, as my family always had artificial trees when I was growing up. Since moving to Rockfor, we have gotten our trees from Williams Tree Farm. We used to take our dog with us, but now we take the kids. They love to ride on the horse-drawn wagon, but I think what they love as much if not more is having hot chocolate and fudge while we wait for our tree. We enjoy the entire experience and cannot imagine a year without it.
